On Thursday the 20th of July 2017, CoolPlay hosted a team building workshop with the Western Province (WP) Junior Athletics team at the University of the Western Cape’s Sports Stadium. At the workshop there were 30 WP Junior athletes and 10 of their facilitators. The workshop was conducted by CoolPlay champions, Grace Mapfumo and Mpai Rampou.

The purpose of the workshop was to introduce CoolPlay’s unique Coaching Conversations to South Africa’s future sporting talent. We wanted to create a unified team among the athletes and we hope that they will use some of the life skills and activities we shared in the workshop in their sport and personal lives. CoolPlay looks forward to collaborating with the WP junior athletics team in the future and wishes them the best of luck for their upcoming events.
