Feziwe, 29, dreams that young, talented kids are given a chance to play sports, whatever their skin colour, and wherever they are from – from rural areas to townships.
Netball is her first passion, but she fell in love with the game of rugby while working for CoolPlay, “The life skills that it’s based on has taught me a lot. These are things I know, I just didn’t think they mattered. I’m most happy when I’m motivating the kids – so they wont lose hope and end up joining a gang or using drugs. I’ve learnt how important it is not to take the short cut in life.”
Her best moment was meeting the Springboks players at Masi.
