Girls came from 8 of our partners schools (Kuilsriver Primary, Sarepta Primary, Kleinberg Primary, Pieter Langeveld Primary, Cloetesville Primary, Zonnebloem Girls Primary, Eluxolweni Primary and Ikhwezi Primary). We were also thrilled to have Noluthando – School for Deaf participating so enthusiastically.

The day kicked off with our partners at Periods For Hope who educated the girls on Menstrual Hygiene and the use of Sanitary Products. They also handed out Reusable Sanitary pads to our girls.

Despite the rain, the courts came alive with the girls playing competitive, yet friendly matches whilst having so much fun.

We would like to thank Spur Steak Ranchesfor sponsoring burgers for everyone there and our friends at Under Armour for providing the sound system.

We would also like to thank the Tee-Ann, Allan Gray, Periods For Hope and Moore Accountants Cape Town for all the generous Sanitary pad donations. We were also grateful to have the help of Ashleigh Brier-Danks and Caitlyn Michel who were volunteering their time to CoolPlay.
